SHOW SIDEBAR
DUDD

A standalone store for DDUD, a new clothing label that we have been working on since last year, will open on Saturday, March 8th in Sakuragawa 3-chome, Naniwa-ku, Osaka, near our atelier. The store is a small one, about 26.2 square meters, located on the second floor of an old reinforced concrete building about 60 years old, which gives a strong sense of Japan's period of high economic growth.

His name is "DUDD".

Please pronounce it "Dad."

"DDUD" was misspelled, resulting in "DUDD."

Unfortunately, there's no deeper meaning to it.

The items sold at "Dad" are "DDUD", antiques and watches.

The store will have drawers and hidden shelves that customers can open. These will display small antiques (junk, antiques, and old books) that the designer has collected and that serve as inspiration. The store will mainly carry Seiko watches from after the quartz crisis, but there will be a small selection of postmodern watches. In the future, the store plans to stock one-of-a-kind and limited edition DDUD items.

Unlike the other two brands we offer, DDUD is an irregular brand. We envision "DUDD" as a store that embraces developments that don't fit into conventional frameworks. We expect it to be a twisted and intense store, and we hope you'll look forward to it.
